He is also a member of the Law Society of Alberta, The Canadian Bar Association (Citizenship & Immigration Sections for Alberta and Ontario) and the International Bar Association (Immigration and Nationality Section). Mr. Katz was born in Montreal, raised in Toronto and educated at the University of Toronto (BA 1987) and at the University of London (LL.B. with Honours 1992, University College London) in London, England.
